CNC Turning
CNC Lathe Machining is perfect for production of 1-1,000 parts. Using the latest CNC turning machines, Summit West Manufacturing produces highly accurate, turned parts to customer specifications. Offering high-precision tolerances ranging from +/-0.0005″. With bar feeding capacity of 1.600” diameter.
Wire EDM
Wire EDMs are highly precise machines with .0002” tolerance capabilities with virtually no burrs. Our services include single parts and production quantities. By enabling hard materials to be wire cut, wire EDM machining eliminates the need for post-machining heat treatment, which in turn reduces the likelihood of surface distortion. Submerging the work piece in dielectric fluid imposes almost no heat stress on the part.
Jig Grinding
A jig grinder is a machine tool used for grinding complex shapes and holes where the highest degrees of accuracy and finish are required. The jig grinder is very similar to a jig borer, in that the table positioning and spindles are very accurate. Jig Grinding provides excellent surface finish results and Tight tolerances as low as .0002
